Fun fact: I went to a boarding school for part of high school and during my junior year our prefects (there were a couple for each floor, we had four - prefects (although we were on the fourth floor)) chose Harry Potter as our floors theme. I’m pretty sure it was a half-assed decision on their part, but lucky as of course everyone liked Harry Potter. At some point they sorted all of us into Houses. I ended up being put in Slytherin, which I might have protested in any other situation but somehow fit our collective perceptions of Slytherin House at that point in time. In fact the two (or maybe three? my memory’s shit) of us that got Slytherin were actually pretty proud of it.
